Hotel Korona is a castle-style seaside hotel in the Utes resort area, Crimea, welcoming international guests. The property offers 54 rooms, a swimming pool, private beach access, multiple dining options, and resort-level amenities.
The Challenge
Despite a strong physical property, Hotel Korona lacked a modern digital foundation. The existing website was technologically outdated and fell far short of the hotel's high standards. This created several obstacles in day-to-day operations:
- •Lack of visibility: The unique castle atmosphere and exclusive location were not visually conveyed on the old site.
- •High commission burden: Without an intuitive direct booking option, guests often turned to large booking platforms, unnecessarily reducing the margin per room.
- •User experience barriers: The site was difficult to use on mobile devices — a critical disadvantage, as the majority of travel planning today happens on smartphones.
